Description: This is a clipped section of the landuse for Kelley Creek Headwaters. This is a simple vegetation landcover layer collected via interpretation of vegetation coverage type using Metro's 2002 digital orthophotographs updating the previous layer based on Metro's 2000 photography. Polygons were digitized around forest, woody non-forest vegetation, open space, and developed gaps. Forest landcover types were delineated for the entire area within the Metro Service District and all sections within one mile beyond the District boundary. Woody non-forest vegetation and open space was delineated only within 300 feet of a mapped stream within the Metro Service District and all sections within one mile beyond the District boundary. It may contain localized emendations suggested by Metro staff, local jurisdictions or the public since the update using the 2002 photography in June 2003.
